Q: what are your design fees?

A: Fee structure ranges from project to project. Typically, residential new builds range in per square foot price depending on finish level, build type, etc.

Once we have an understanding of your vision and construction budget we can provide a tailored quote and proposal that covers the project scope.

Commercial tenancy improvements range from $2/ft and up with large projects being quoted individually..


Q: what is the turnaround?

A: hunter tristan design focuses on each project with a time of the essence mindset. Most residential 'spec' homes can be ready to apply for permit with in 30-60 days. Larger projects and custom designs are case-by-case and can take up to 6 months or more depending on timelines and projected start dates.


Q: can you help with the city/permits?

A: We can and we almost always apply for at least the Development Permit. We prefer to be the point of contact with the city and any members of the community that have questions or concerns related to the project or development. hunter tristan performs all the 'behind the scenes' leg work to get the permits.


Q: do you come to site during construction?

A: Absolutely! We love construction and that's where we started. Fresh ideas and changes happen on lots of projects and any complications are best solved on-site and discussing it with the team tasked with building your project.
